"Open up my eyes that I may see wondrous things from Your Law."
The other night while I was complaining about the "chore" of having to take my contacts out every night before bed, I had a revelation. I looked at the hubby and said, "Ya know, as much as I don't like taking out my contacts every night, how awful it would be to live life in 'blurry.'" It hit me then... how many of us live live in "blurry"? Oh God, OPEN MY EYES that I MAY SEE!!! "The entrance of Your Word brings LIGHT, It gives UNDERSTANDING to the simple" (Ps. 119:30). Are you settled to live life in blurry? OR, are you willing to give effort to "seeing" clearly? I know for me, I'm ready to stand in line for the Exodus 33:11 experience: "So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend." :) Those who are familiar with near-sidedness, know that the CLOSER you get to the thing you are looking at, the clearer it becomes! How close and clear is Jesus to me? To You? Granted, we know that we shall only see "dimly" in this life, but let's push the limit to know Him as fully as He allows!
Today God, open up our eyes that we may see!
